When he died more than 400 years later, he took the secrets of this remarkable device to the grave with him. It was called the Cronos device. Not to mention the always-intriguing Ron Perlman's hack performance and bad accent.
But "Cronos" is not really about plot. Synopsis Faced with his own mortality, an ingenious alchemist tried to perfect an invention that would provide him with the key to eternal life.
Perlman brings a comic element into the film, whistling "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" in a way that for the first time finds sinister undertones in the tune.
