The Mill Road Winter Fair Committee are the volunteers who plan the rough outlines of the fair. Now regarded as one of the region’s most popular events, the festival of light, organised by charity Cambridge Live, attracts thousands to Cambridge each winter to see the dazzling light installations over the course of six exceptional evenings and take part in a host of events. The festival aims to have an emphasis on the darker, richer beers associated with winter, but there’s a wide range of beers of all styles from the UK and around the world, as well as cider and perry. The summer festival is usually the week in May that culminates in the late May bank holiday weekend.
